Eclipse Base: Lake Shasta, dead on centerline.
Weather: light overcast -- clear during maximum
We got us a houseboat to motor up Lake Shasta in Nocal to be RIGHT on centerline! My first annular eclipse. It's different than my previous 10 "totals," not COMPLETELY dARK -- WE STAYED ECLIPSE-GLASSED THE WHOLE TIME.
